YOUR DVR (Digital Video Recorder) HOW IT WORKS:

**   Your DVR (digital video recorder) begins recording the program you are watching every time you tune in a channel, therefore you can rewind, pause and fast forward what you are watching.

**   When live TV is recording it is not permanently stored, you will lose recording every time you change channel, or by watching more than 2 hours of that same channel.

CONTOLLING YOUR DVR


You may control your DVR in two (2) ways by using the video control buttons, which are located on upper part of the remote control (they resemble VCR buttons) or by using the arrow buttons located in the center of the remote control. i.e.,
  • Arrow up: play & pause
  • Arrow left: rewind & slow rewind from pause
  • Arrow right: fast forward & forward from pause
  • Arrow down: go to live TV
  • Replay button or the page down button will replay last 15 seconds recorded.

RECORDING PROGRAMS

Your DVR can record up to 25 hours of analog recordings, 30 hours of digital and 12 hours of HD (high definition) recordings.

One touch recording:
  • Press record button and recording will begin immediately and a "RED DOT" will appear on the screen to confirm recording.

Recording from program guide:
  • Pull up program guide by highlighting a program at a later time, you will see an information screen
  • Move cursor to "R" for "Set or Cancel a Recording"
  • Press OK and program will be recorded as scheduled

Schedule a recording:
  • Press main menu and then to DVR icon press OK and highlight "Set a Recording"
  • Press OK, enter start time and stop time, enter day and press "confirm" icon
  • Next find the channel you want to record press create recording and confirm

Two ways to view recorded program:
  1. Go to main menu and and select DVR; Highlight "My Recordings" press OK; Select a recording, press OK to view
  2. Press LIST button on remote to view; Select a recording, press OK to view
